The Soviet Union continued the minting of jubilee coins, the main subject of which is the Olympic Games in Moscow. The coins of 1, 5, 10, 100 and 150 rubles were minted again. For the first time, the technology of improved printing, “proof,” was used especially for coin collectors.

- 5 rubles, the theme - high jump, silver, sample 900, weighing 16.67 grams and with a diameter of 3.3 centimeters;
- 10 rubles, dedicated to cycling, composition - silver, sample 900, weight 33.3 g, width 3.9 cm;
- 10 rubles, emblem - rowing, material - 900 silver, weight 33.3 grams, size 3.9 cm;
- 10 rubles, subject - horse riding, silver, sample 900, weighs 33.3 g., Diameter 3.9 cm;
- 10 rubles, pole-vaulting, sample silver 900, weighing 33.3 grams, 3.9 centimeters wide;
- 100 rubles, the emblem of the sports complex in the Luzhniki Stadium, the composition is gold of 900 samples, weight 17.45 grams, 3 cm in size;
- 100 rubles, the theme is the rowing canal, the material is gold, the sample is 900, weight is 17.45 grams, width is 3 centimeters;
- 150 rubles, devoted to disc throwing, platinum of 999 samples, weighing 15.5 grams, size 28.6 cm.
Today, all these coins have value in coin collectors, especially gold and platinum.
