The history of numismatics knows unique examples of the appearance of especially beautiful coins on the market. Some specimens look as if they are related not to the world of finance and market relations, but to the fine art of jewelers.
Coin worth 200 marks, minted in Finland in 1959, is a unique specimen, which is considered an expensive rarity. It is made in the "knightly style", as emblematically says the emblem of Finland, adorning the reverse side. Both the emblem and the year of coinage (1959) are embossed, which gives the coin a solid look.
On the obverse on the upper part of the circle are the silhouettes of trees. The source material for this coin is silver. Since the coin is made of a noble metal of uneven, flickering, as it were, color, it creates the full impression of the snow-covered forest in the image.
In addition, collectors especially appreciate those copies that complete or begin the series. The coin of 200 marks of 1959 is just that: it existed not for long - from 1956 to 1959.
Thus, the entire circulation of two hundred-mark coins of this year is the final one. It was completely abolished and withdrawn from trade. However, as often happens, several copies remained in circulation for several years. Later they moved to private collections and became the subject of lust for enthusiastic numismatists.
