Latvia, one of Baltic countries located in Eastern Europe. It inhabits about two million people. The capital is Riga – the ancient and beautiful city.
In 1918 Latvia gained independence and its own currency – lats (100 centimes). In circulation then was the centimes - 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and also armor - 1, 2 and 5.
