For Greece, 2001 was a landmark and victorious year. The state has entered the European Union. And by the beginning of 2002, the country needed to have a certain number of bank notes.
Therefore, in 2002, the mints of Greece, Spain, Finland and France minted coins for the state of Greece. This moment was due to the following: the mint of the country did not have such facilities to provide the entire population with the necessary monetary supply.
1 and 2, 5, 10 and 50 cents were minted in France. Coins of 20 cents were issued by Spain. Finland produced coins of 1 and 2 euros. Later, only Greece was involved in issuing its own coins.
For Ukraine, the year 2002 turned out to be very productive in the field of issuing coins, both commemorative and anniversary.
