Coins 1905 edition

In 1905, there have been many important events which are important to numismatists. Among them, there are several facts about the minting of coins in Russia. For a start it is worth mentioning that this year the mints of the country stopped the production of silver poltinas. The reason for this is their large number in use and the lack of silver.
Also this year, Russia produced a large batch of coins to Finland. It was three copper species with denominations of 1, 5 and 10 pennies, one silver type – 2 mark and gold coin worth 10 marks.
In other countries there have been some changes in the monetary system, including:
1. The suspension of the coinage of the Dominican peso. This year the Dominican Republic has ceased to be financially independent, what the main currency of the country was the us dollar, replacing the usual peso. Coinage was resumed only after 32 years.
2. It is also a suspension of the coinage 20 cents Hong Kong. This is the first release period, which began in 1866. This coin was not produced until 1975.
3. Soon after independence of the Panama Republic introduced its own currency – coins, centesimo.
4. ½ The beginning of production of Indian rupees to British India. On the coin was engraved the profile of Edward VII. Although the common year of the appearance of these coins is 1904, put into practice they began only in 1905.
