All numismatists know that coins are rare, and those that do not fall into this category. Simply put - not rare. This is vividly illustrated by the events taking place in the USSR in the early 70s of the last century. The monetary reform of 1961 replaced the old banknotes with new ones. There were enough of them. Therefore, in 1963, only 1 and 2 kopeck coins, which are not rare specimens, were subject to stamping.

One side of the coin was decorated with the image of Elizabeth 2, and on the other side was St. George, casting a dragon. The circulation of the coin was huge - 7.4 million pieces.
