Coins of the Italian States

In 1750, the Italian States added to the collection of coins of the world a lot of coins made of copper, billon, silver, gold. Among them coins:
- standard edition;
- trial;
- memorable;
- numismatic;
- unusual.
The category of unusual coins of the world, a numismatic product, includes coins of 1 ozella, the Board of Pietro Grimani - gold and silver. The size of the coins is the same – 36 mm, the design is identical. Differ coin weight, gold weighs 13.74 g, silver – 9.76 g.
On the front side of the coins, on the left, there is a standing Saint mark, who holds a book on the altar, in an upright position. The act of blessing is shown.
Behind him, on the left side – a lion, on the right – Doge, on his knees. Pour on top of the beams. Mint marks: initials of mintmaster – head coinage.
On the reverse of the coin there is an inscription of five lines, in a decorative design, in the form of a flower wreath, in which: the name – Petri Grimani, the date of issue. Above – the image of the Ducal cap.
In 1750, the Italian States issued a standard edition of gold coins, 1 ounce. This Florentine coin was in circulation in European countries. The design of the coins is identical, the deviations are minor. The banknotes were minted at the mint in Palermo. On the obverse: bust of Charles Bourbon, right location. On the reverse side: from the flames rises the Phoenix, downward directed rays.
The coin, weighing 4.4 g, reverse is decorated in Baroque style, Phoenix is located in a decorative circle. The date of issue is marked on the obverse of the coin, below the bust.
The other coin, weighing 4.4 g, reverse is decorated without decorative motifs in the Baroque style and the year of issue is below the Phoenix, on the reverse.

The Italian state printed in 1750 year, commemorative silver coins:
- 60 Grano – ½ piastra, weight 12.8 g;
- 120 Grano – 1 piastres, weighing 25.61 g.
