Silver coins: Escalines of the vacant throne, distinguished by the deposition date. In two coins - the year of issue is printed on the emblem, below the image of a lion, which stands on its hind legs. The date design is also different - one of them is framed. At the third coin - the date of coinage is located in a circular inscription around the emblem. On the obverse, as well as on all coins of the vacant throne, there is a bust of a saint.
The inscription “Sede Vacante” is minted in the circular legend on the obverse of the coins of the sedisvacant series, which means the vacant throne.
