Nicholas I 1826 - 1855, coin catalog, price

Currency: the ruble
Russian Emperor Nicholas I, third son of Paul I, ascended at the end of 1825.
Versions of the coins and the materials from which they were made, under Nicholas I was marked by a great diversity. In the catalog of coins of Russia of that time were present copper, silver, gold and platinum money.
Continued coinage for Poland (zloty and pennies). Moreover, the values of such money, usually stated is twofold: in rubles and zlotys. Georgia also minted coins (palabas, and double abaz abaz).
To pre-existing coin line (Polushka, Denga, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 cents, the ruble, 1 ruble, 5 rubles) in 1827 joined 25 cents silver from 1828 to 1830, 3, 6 and 12 roubles in platinum (one denomination every year). ½ , ¼ Pennies and 3 pennies (copper) saw the light in 1839. Copper denezhka appeared after 10 years.
Periodically for foreign payments continued to mint coins. Also issued a lot of commemorative coins dedicated to various events. To buy such coins Russia by forces not for everyone. For example, "family" 1,5 silver rubles (10 zloty) years 1835-1836, with the image of all members of the Royal family, very rare. The cost of such Russian coins at international auctions – hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But this is rare instances. The change of the values is preserved sufficiently, and the price of Russian coins that circulated in the nineteenth century, quite reasonable.
