USSR 1961 - 1991, coin catalog, price

Country: USSR, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
Capital: Moscow
Currency: Soviet ruble
The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics - the so-called Russia from 1922 to 1991. The capital of the Union has always been Moscow. The area of possession of state exceeded 22 million square kilometers (almost the sixth part of the land surface of the planet). It housed 293 "tail" of a million people.
The people of the Soviet Union used the ruble, which equals one hundred cents, for the internal calculations. In 1960 was developed by a denomination that changed the value of Soviet coins (and banknotes) exactly ten times. 10 old rubles from January next year was replaced with a new one.
Reform of 1961 amended the catalogue of coins of the USSR and ensured his next coin next:
- change 1, 2, 3 and 5 cents stamped from brass;
- higher denominations are 10, 15, 20 and 50 kopecks, and 1 ruble was awarded the alloy of Nickel with copper.
I must say that the post-reform money was "long lived": they lasted thirty years.
On Internet sites it is also possible to buy coins USSR commemorative design (since they were produced in sufficient numbers).
